Kelsey Corrigan, M.D.
Dr. Kelsey Corrigan is a proud native of Wisconsin, where she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then moved to Durham, North Carolina, where she completed her medical degree at Duke University. During this time, she developed a deep interest in addressing health care disparities, and completed a dual Master’s of Public Health degree at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her dedication to the cancer community solidified during medical school, where she conducted research on care inequities among cancer patients. This experience shaped her career trajectory, driving her to specialize in oncology.
Following medical school, she completed an internship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City followed by Radiation Oncology residency training at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. During her residency, she made notable contributions to the field by spearheading the development of several research projects and clinical trials. Her efforts garnered over $150,000 in grant funding, leading to the launch of three innovative protocols aimed at collecting patient-reported outcomes and improving patient education. She has published her findings in several high-impact medical journals. In addition to her research, Dr. Corrigan served on several key committees and was elected to the executive board of the national residency association for Radiation Oncology. These roles deepened her dedication to oncology and reinforced her commitment to improving cancer patient outcomes.
Upon completing her residency, Dr. Corrigan joined Radiation Oncology Associates as a general Radiation Oncologist. Her primary goal is to provide exceptional, patient-centered care, with a focus on ensuring that clinical trials are accessible to all cancer patients, regardless of their background. She is certified in all modern radiation techniques, including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, and many others. Returning to her roots in Wisconsin, Dr. Corrigan is excited to contribute to her community. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, traveling, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
