Dr. Aronne Schottstaedt

Aronne Schottstaedt, M.D.

Dr. Aronne Schottstaedt (pronounced Aaron shot – st – ed, also just Dr. AJ for short). He grew up in Petaluma, California, in Sonoma County. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), during which time he competed on the Men’s Gymnastics Team. He returned to Petaluma and completed a Masters in Biomedical Imaging at University of California, San Francisco before moving to Cleveland, Ohio for medical school at Case Western Reserve University. He completed his intern year in Milwaukee at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital, followed by radiation oncology residency training at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

He is passionate about education, global health, advances in radiation, and high quality, compassionate patient care for diverse communities. He is experienced with modern radiation techniques including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, and a variety of image guidance techniques and modalities. Outside of work, he loves walking with his wife and dog through downtown Milwaukee, traveling, backpacking, biking, board games, volleyball, and any excuse to be near water.
